The seats within the UPSC NDA exam centres are limited and get filled in no time, thus the candidates are suggested to apply for the examination as soon as application forms are out. The centre allotment has no reservations. All seats are allotted on the initial first come first serve basis.

NDA Exam Centres: Important Instructions 

  • Exam centers for NDA 2023 will be allocated based on the order of application, and once a center reaches its capacity, no further allocations will be made there.
  • It’s important to note that a maximum number of candidates will be assigned to each center, except for Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata, and Nagpur.
  • If applicants can’t secure their preferred center due to capacity constraints, they will need to select from the remaining options.
  • During NDA & NA 2023 application, candidates can indicate their top three choices of exam centers.
  • As part of the application process, candidates will need to specify their preferred exam center locations.
  • Aspirants must sit for the written exam at the assigned NDA Exam Centers 2023 stated in the Admit Card provided by UPSC.
  • Candidates should ensure they arrive at the exam center at least an hour before the reporting time, carrying both the NDA Admit Card and valid identification.
  • After allocation, requests for changes in exam centers won’t be entertained under any circumstances.

  • Click on the link for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination
  • Access the information bulletin
  • Download the PDF of the NDA notification
  • In the PDF, refer to ‘Annexure-I’. This section provides the list of NDA exam centers for the 2023 exam
  • When filling out the NDA 2023 application form, candidates can pick up to three preferred exam centers of their choice

How to Choose NDA Exam Centres

For candidates who are unsure about how to go about selecting their NDA Exam Centers 2023, we’ve outlined a few simple steps to guide them:

  • Step 1: Begin by completing the NDA registration form Part I, where candidates provide personal, qualification, communication, and other essential details
  • Step 2: Upon successfully submitting Part I of the NDA Registration Form, candidates will receive a unique registration number
  • Step 3: Proceed to Part II of the registration form. Here, candidates will have the option to choose their preferred exam centers
  • Step 4: From the list of cities provided, candidates should select NDA exam centers that align with their preferences
  • Step 5: Candidates are allowed to express up to three preferences, taking into consideration the proximity of the cities to their location
  • Step 6:After finalizing the selection of exam centers, candidates need to make the required payment and upload their recent photograph and signature
  • Step 7:The allocation of exam centers will be conducted following a “first-apply-first-allotment” principle
